BACKGROUND

Located in Berlin City West, KaDeWe counts as one of the biggest department stores in Europe. For their yearly retail campaign “Back to School” we created a concept and key visuals to be applied on all communication tools around the campaign in store and online.

RESULT

A good school start is spelled “COOL”. Inspired by handwriting, thin lines and iconic symbols we created a fluent pattern and graphics to be seen in multiple formats. The trend of style undercover a glimpse of Memphis-inspired elements updated to a contemporary look corresponding to the New School Cool concept.

Hahne Mühlenwerke

BACKGROUND

C. Hahne Mühlenwerke GmbH & Co. KG is one of the most important cereal manufacturers in Europe with a range of more than 250 different products. For their relaunch in 2015 we were requested to develop visual directions and mood concepts.

RESULT

Based upon 9 spotted packaging trends the task was to conceptualise the visual world beneath and give each appearance a design direction. Through emotionalizing, decoding and defining the trend worlds these moods aimed to bring a deeper understanding for components and key elements playing an important role for the upcoming packaging design and branding.
