BACKGROUND

KaDeWe in Berlin, Alsterhaus in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich are all department stores and members of the KaDeWe Group. For the retail campaign “Russian Christmas 2020”, an independent key visual needed to be designed to attract Russian speaking customers.

RESULT

Illustrations made Magic, Modern and Graphic aimed to be applied on different on- and offline communication tools within the campaign. The design captures attributes, symbols and figures referring to heritage and culture within Russian Christmas traditions.

KaDeWe

BACKGROUND

Located in Berlin City West, KaDeWe counts as one of the biggest department stores in Europe. For their yearly retail campaign “Back to School”, we created a concept and key visuals to be applied on all communication tools around the campaign, in store and online.

RESULT

A good start to school is spelled “COOL”. Inspired by handwriting, thin lines and iconic symbols we created a fluent pattern and graphics to be seen in multiple formats. The trend of style undercover a glimpse of Memphis-inspired elements updated to a contemporary look corresponding to the New School Cool concept.

Marine Stewardship Council

Task

To create ideas, concepts and designs for the MSC yearly campaign that appears at gastronomical facilities around Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about MSC´s sustainable fisheries and the blue labelling of fish and seafood with a reach for both external and internal target groups.

RESULT

We created a communication campaign to raise awareness about sustainable fishing through giving “sustainability” a new tone of voice. Green-washing and guilt-tripping were yesterday, we simply wanted to speak plainly and honestly, so better to say it “in Black and White”. Through a low cost concept we decided to create the magazine “Schwarz auf Weiß” that could easily be distributed directly at the canteens. Also posters, postcards and give-a-ways were designed and spread around at several hundred locations.
